World Class Seminars for our Students - Friday, March 9, 2018 – Sunday, March 11, 2018: Special Class Schedule

We are proud to announce that in honor of our Grand Opening, renowned Senseis from Japan Karate-Do International will be teaching World Class Karate Seminars for all of our students. We encourage all of our students, both Karate and Krav Maga, to attend. These renowned JKI Senseis will be teaching the powerful foundations of Karate, which include Stances, Blocks, Punches and Fighting techniques. This training will improve our student’s power, core, and speed. We welcome the opportunity to train with these accomplished JKI Senseis: Sensei Nicholas Mazzuca (5th Dan), Sensei Fernando Fernandez (4th Dan), and Sensei John Laracuente (2nd Dan).

We are looking forward to a fabulous weekend of Celebration and Training!

  • 5:00pm - 6:15pm: All Tiny Tigers Karate, Juniors Karate Belts White through Green, & All Krav Maga Kids Classes.
  • 6:30pm - 8:30pm: Juniors Karate Belts Green through Brown & All Teen/Adult Karate & All Teen/Adult Krav Maga & All Karate Family Classes.
    Note 8:45pm: All Krav Maga students are asked to please attend the Karate Seminar times.
  • There will Not be a 8:45pm Krav Maga Class on Friday, March 9, 2018.

Sensei Fernando Fernandez, Yodan (4th Dan), JKI

Started Goju Ryu Karate in 1981 in the city of Carupano Venezuela. In 1982 Started Shotokan Karate under the JKA with Shihan Katsuya Ishiyama. In 1987, after the death of Master Masatoshi Nakayama, JKA Venezuela became part of the ITKF under the technical guidance of Sensei Hidetaka Nishiyama.

National and International competitor in Venezuela and the Caribbean.

After moving to the United States, in 1999, started with the Japan Shotokan Karate Federation (JSKF) in 2004 with Shihan Tony Rosa in Miami, FL, and under the technical guidance of Shihan Toshiaki Namiki. Started studying under Sensei Yasuyoshi Saito and the Japan Karate Do International in the year 2007. National and International Competitor in the U.S under JKI.

Qualifications:

  • Yondan (4th Degree) Black belt under Japan Karate Do International
  • Yondan (4th Degree) Black belt certified by WUKO (World Union Karate Organization)
  • Technical Director – Japan karate Do International
  • Class A instructor - Graduated from the first Japan Karate Do International Kenshusei in 2016 (Instructor’s course)
